March 24th is Ergonomics Day in Reno, Nevada

I read a press release earlier today where the Reno mayor, Robert Cashell, has declared that March 24th is Ergonomics Day.

Although the proclamation is little more than a token of appreciation for the conference choosing Reno as its host city, this is another opportunity to promote awareness of the human factors and ergonomics discipline.

Increased awareness of the discipline is something the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society has chosen as a priority by designating each October as National Ergonomics Month.
