Special Issue of “Interacting with Computers” Honoring Professor Brian Shackel

The December 2009 issue of Interacting with Computers includes a special issue papers section devoted to Professor Brian Shackel, a luminary of the human-computer interaction world, who passed away on May 9, 2007. 

The issue includes three articles (Designing for People in the Age of Information;  Usability – Context, Framework, Definition, Design, and Evaluation; Human-Computer Interaction – Whence and Whither?) previously publish by Professor Shackel, his curriculum vitae, an obituary from The Ergonomist, and several tribute articles.
