This week Unity Medical is at HIMSS11 – the annual conference & exhibition for HIMSS (Health Information and Management Systems Society) - in Orlando, Florida.  We’re showcasing two of our enterprise-level content engagement technologies:

  • GetHealthy – A white-label wellness engagement solution offered through payers
  • Provider Video Libraries – Service line videos delivered on our engagement platform

Also, each day we’re presenting talks on the following topics:

  • “Next Generation in Health Risk Assessment Tools” – Michael Boerner
  • “Disruption: A Reboot of Healthcare?” – David Westfall
  • “Optimizing Engagement Through Design” – Eric Shaver

Overall, as a first time attendee, it’s been a great experience meeting new people, participating in educational sessions, and learning about new health care technologies.  I’m planning to post more after the conference ends.

Pivoting into a New Role

Last month I took a position with Unity Media Group | Unity Medical as the Director of Behavioral Research & Design.  In this role I will oversee the research and user experience design related to new product development.

While my time with Benchmark Research & Safety was very rewarding, I couldn’t pass up this new and exciting opportunity.  I look forward to applying my knowledge, skills, and abilities as I work in a collaborative role with a great team of talented professionals.
