The December 2010 issue of the Consulting Psychology Journal: Practice and Research journal is devoted to “Defining and Measuring Character in Leadership.”  The special issue, edited by A. Dale Thompson and Ronald E. Riggio, includes the follow articles:

Top 10 Leadership Researchers

As I noted in a previous post, over the last several years, I’ve read much of the current research on leadership. This was driven partially by personal interest and partially to assist with preparing material for “Organizational Leadership in the Wildland Fire Service,” which I co-authored with Curt C. Braun.

While it’s challenging to cull the large list of individuals performing quality research on this topic to a few, below is my Top 10 (provided in alphabetical order) list of leadership researchers:
